Meeting Minutes

Monday, August 14, 2006

            The Lorimor Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, August 14, 2006, at 5:00 P.M. at City Hall.  Members present:  Jill Alexander, Karen Forbes, James Phillips.  Absent:  Julie Reed.  Also present:  Mary Seales, recording secretary, and Jeremy Rounds of Southern Iowa Council of Governments.

            Jill called the meeting to order.  She gave the following announcements: 

·        Rounds would arrive at 5:30 P.M.  Until he arrived, the other items on the agenda would be covered.

·        Wendy Noftsger had moved from Lorimor and tendered her resignation.

·        No word had been received on the application to Iowa State University for intern program

James Phillips had previously expressed interest in having his property re-zoned.  Jill asked that he submit request in writing to the Commission.

There was discussion of the content of the addendum to the Comprehensive Plan.

Jeremy arrived and the remainder of the meeting was devoted to a detailed review of the Comprehensive Plan in preparation of the final draft.

Mary left the meeting previous to the adjournment of the meeting.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:10 P.M.
