Since I began the idea of a new CityHall/Community Center Complex back in 2001, I wanted to see the building used for many different purposes.

The City Council and I are in agreement to use the Community Center to meet the needs and desires of all the people as best we can.

For years now, I have heard about children and youth not having anything to do. We want to correct that gap in service for our community. Such things as holiday and spring breaks and summer vacation are times when this group needs activities.

Lorimor is a small, but growing community, with a great potential.
As the Des Moines Metropolitan area continues to grow, more and more families are moving toward Lorimor.
Our City has the great advantage of a major primary highway (Hwy 169) going straight through it.
