Dinner Theater A Success

Once again, we had a great meal and a play with lots of laughs! Thanks to the director, Jeanna Mckinney, the cast, and crew members for all their dedication and time spent at rehearsals and the stage set-up. What hidden talents these people have! Hats off to the Chef, Troy Chapman, and all the kitchen and dining room help. Sandy Kilkenny solicited a lot of nice door prizes, and thank you to all those who donated and attended.

Painting and Clean-up Party

We have several improvement projects planned for the clubhouse, inside painting, and general cleaning scheduled for Saturday, April ST. The President’s Message

It is getting close to the end of March and things are greening up already; time to PLAY GOLF!  As you can see, in the newsletter, the land has sold.  After meeting the couple, I think they will be great neighbors.
The tournaments are also in the newsletter.  Be sure and support the Club by playing in the tournaments.  The club tournaments have not been well attended, but hopefully this year we can change that.
If you haven’t paid your dues yet, please do so as soon as possible so we will have an idea how many members we will have this year.  Oh, and the money comes in handy, too.
The opener’s breakfast is April Th so be sure to show up and have a great breakfast and hopefully play some golf that day. We are also having a clean-up day, but unlike previous years, most of the clean-up will be in the clubhouse, painting, cleaning, and whatever else Irma can find for us to do.  Sounds like a sign-up sheet will be available at the clubhouse so we will have an idea how many will be around to help.  Have a great summer!

Land Sale

The land sale closed on March Th. The selling price was $43,000. The total of our expenses as the seller was $3,263, making the total of the net proceeds $39,737. We have not yet determined the actual amount of the federal and state capital gains taxes, but we are estimating that figure to be $8,000. So far, we have used the funds to pay the property taxes to date, all of the member loans, and all of the bank debt is paid in full. Your club is now debt free and all bills are paid current!

PRACTICE FOR JUNIOR GOLF MINI TOURNAMENTS AGES 6-16 WILL BEGIN SOON. REGISTRATION IS $15 FOR FAMILY MEMBERSHIPS AND $25 FOR ALL OTHERS.
