Lorimor City Council Meeting

Special Session

January 16, 2006    7:00 P.M.

          The Lorimor City Council met in special session on January 16, 2006, at the City Hall with Mayor Forbes presiding.  Council members present:  Davis, Orwan, Schmidt, Tucker.  Absent:  Wright

          Schmidt moved with a second from Davis to approve the agenda.  Vote – all ayes.  Motion carried.

          The Mayor announced that the Public Hearing to receive comments on entering into a Loan Agreement and issuance of a Project Note not to exceed $158,000 was now open.  Seales reported that no petition had been filed asking that the question of entering into the loan agreement be submitted to the registered voters of the City.  No other oral or written objections had been received.  Schmidt then moved to close the public hearing with a second from Davis.  Roll call vote – all ayes.  Motion carried.  Hearing was closed at 7:16 P.M.

          Orwan made the motion to adopt Resolution 05-06 19, RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A LOAN AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A $158,000 GENERAL OBLIGATON LOAN AGREEMENT ANTICIPATION PROJECT NOTE.  Schmidt seconded the motion. Roll call vote – all ayes.  Motion carried. 

          Davis moved to adjourn.  Second from Orwan.  Vote – all ayes.  Motion carried.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:16 P.M.
