Lorimor City Council

September 25, 2006    7:00 P.M.

Special Session

            The Lorimor City Council met in special session, Monday, September 25, 2006, at City Hall with Mayor Kent Forbes presiding.  Council members present:  Davis, Orwan, and Tucker.  Absent:  Schmidt and Wright.

            Motion by Davis, second from Orwan to approve the agenda.  Vote – all ayes.  Motion carried.

            Plans for the Open House on October 7, 2006, were discussed.  Invitations had been mailed and notices of the event will be placed in area shoppers and The New  Lorimorian.   Details for food, serving, and a program were finalized. 

            Orwan moved with a second from Davis to accept the estimate of $500.00 from Dan Werts for sod work around the new building.  Vote – all ayes.  Motion carried.

            Orwan moved with a second from Davis to accept the estimate of $1700.00 from the Merritt Company for the cleaning, waxing, and buffing of the vinyl tile flooring in the new building.  Vote – all ayes.  Motion carried.

            Davis moved to adjourn, second from Tucker.  Vote – all ayes.  Motion carried.  Meeting was adjourned.
