As of last week the Revolving Loan Fund, Program, loan informatio (records), and present loans have been transferred to Southern Iowa Resource Conservation and Development Area in Creston. Anyone needing funds to establish a small business will be able to file an application with this entity. The address is listed below.

It is nice to hear that the federal and state government want faster internet services in the rural areas in the State of Iowa. People from the Lorimor area Thayer area, Murrey area, Grand River area, and Corydon area already have high speed internet connections in the form of fiber optics created by the Grand River Mutual Telephone Company.

I was trying to think of some businesses that have succeeded and services that are still needed. I will list them below.

Reason to move to a small community within 50 miles of the Des Moines area.

There can be a lot said about living in a small town within driving distance of larger communities such as Des Moines, Creston, Osceola, and Winterset. You are within fifty miles of an iternational airport with good rural roads to travel on. With interstate 35 to the east and interstate 80 to the north, there is easy access to the interstate highway system. I will list some of the reasons for living in the Lorimor area below. If you can think of any other reasons, let me know.
